Vaughan backs England to star

Former captain Michael Vaughan believes England have every chance of winning the World Twenty20 in the Caribbean that starts on Friday.

Paul Collingwood's men begin their campaign on Monday against West Indies before a showdown with Ireland a day later.

Despite England's failings in the previous two limited-overs events, Vaughan now feels the team has a balanced look to it and predicts they can go all the way in the West Indies especially with several players having now experienced the Indian Premier League.

Speaking to reporters, he said: "This is the third T20 World Cup, and this is the first time I've got excited about the England squad coming into it.

"For the first time we have guys in the batting with power from one to seven. Maybe we're a little bit inexperienced in the bowling department, but I think it's the batting which has let us down in the past.

"We've had guys who've played in the IPL, which is a big plus to a team going into a tournament like this. I'd be disappointed if we don't put up some kind of fight."

England Boss Scores Richest Manager Trophy

The World Cup is still a few months away but England manager Fabio Capello has already been crowned a winner.

Fabio Capello has built up an impressive art collection with his earnings

The Italian has been revealed as the richest football boss in British and Irish football in The Sunday Times Sport Rich List for 2010.

Capello amassed his £34m fortune after stints in Europe at AC Milan, Roma, Juventus and Real Madrid.

But with a £6.5m-a-year contract with the FA, the 63-year-old is believed to be the highest paid England boss in history.

Capello took over at the top in 2007 after the team failed to qualify for Euro 2008 and Steve McClaren was dismissed.

He has admitted to being a fine art enthusiast and his collection is thought to be worth around £17m.

Sir Alex is third on the list

But close behind the Italian is Ipswich boss and former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane who is worth £30m.

The Irishman outstrips his former boss Sir Alex Ferguson who is placed in third with £24m.

The rest of the top ten is dominated by European coaches and Italians in particular.

The managers might be earning a fortune but their salaries are dwarfed by many of those they coach.

David Beckham is believed to earn around £26m a year while Christiana Ronaldo rakes in £19m annually.

The top ten minted managers:

1. Fabio Capello, England, wealth estimated at £34m

2. Roy Keane, Ipswich Town, £30m

3. Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United, £24m

4. Carlo Ancelotti, Chelsea, £21m

5. Giovanni Trapattoni, Republic of Ireland, £18m

6. Arsene Wenger, Arsenal, £17m

7. Sven-Goran Eriksson, Ivory Coast, £16m

8. Roberto Mancini, Manchester City, £13m

9. Rafa Benitez, Liverpool, £11m
