Pretty Little Liars 'Surface Tension' Fashion Recap

Spencer Wears a Plaid Jacket (the "Knitted Dove") and
Sweater from ModCloth, Skirt by J. Crew

I apologize for being MIA lately, just with the move and summer and all, life has been a pretty much non-stop whirlwind. A good one, but...you know how it goes. I do miss you guys and I'm looking forward to getting caught up on all your blogs very soon! As for Pretty Little Liars, I'm not even going to pretend I know what's going on. What was with Spencer's dad? And Mike? And Jenna with the cop? I do like that the parents seem to be catching on a bit.

The black dress Aria wore to the dinner party--the one with
the interesting twisted V-neckline--is the Bailey 44 Veronica,
available at Zappos for $165.00.

Aria's black platform heels with lace and bow are

Emily's grey tank is the Title Unknown Navajo Racerback Tank,
which she wore with a Gap denim jacket, BDG jeans and Converse.
The pink lace tank is by Truly Madly Deeply.

Hanna's floaty chiffon top is by Clover Canyon ($132).
Hanna's jeans are also BDG and shoes are by Chinese Laundry.

Spencer's red and navy striped dress is the

Pretty Little Liars 'Never Letting Go' Fashion Recap

With the fashion show this episode there were quite a few looks. Here is a few I've managed to break down for now:

BCBGeneration Striped High-Waisted Linen Shorts

Emily's purple wrap dress, piped in white, is
her turquoise necklace -- yet to be ID'd.

Hanna's tie dye chiffon top by Haute Hippie
(it's on sale!)

Hanna's open-toed brown espadrille wedges are
the Chesto by Jessica Simpson.

Aria's white dress is the Yonni Burnout Wrap Jersey
Maxi Dress from Diane von Furstenberg, her striped
floppy hat is by Juicy Couture.

Hanna wears a strapless black Alexander McQueen
minidress with a pintucked pick-up skirt.

For the fashion show finale Spencer wore an Anthony Franco Fall 2011 gown that feautred a plunging neckline, beading and a feathered skirt. Quite a dramatic look for our Spencer.

Love the colour of Emily's royal blue

Not a big fan of Aria's purple strapless dress by Alexander McQueen.
The McQueen Side Peplum Dress is seen here in black.
Aria's necklace is by Gemma Redux and her shoes are

Pretty Little Liars 'The Devil You Know' Fashion & Episode Recap

So pretty much the highlight of the episode was twofold for me:

1. Haley and Caleb kissed!

AND

2. Ian does not appear to be Alison's murderer.
Also, A is a hell of a projectionist with quite the flair for drama.

Hanna's red-and-white bustier is the Lucca Couture Bustier [similar]

Oh, and did I mention that Haley and Caleb kissed!?
What did you think of the episode?

And some Pretty Little Liars July 12 - Episode 02x05 Fashion...

Duchess of Cambridge Fashion Mystery Solved? Kate Middleton's Nude Pumps

Photo via The Daily Mail

There have been a few items from Kate Middleton's North American Tour of Fashion that have yet to be identified as far as I know. Like the Duchess' textured envelope clutch, her navy suede shoes (not to be confused with her navy Pradas or her navy Manolos--this is definitely a girl who loves navy), the ruffled blouse from Slave Lake and the boucle boxed jacket Kate wore when arriving in Charlottetown.

Of course, there are also the nude pumps that Kate wore when arriving in Charlottetown and again in L.A. Not to be confused with the Duchess' platform nude pumps from LK Bennett--this is definitely a girl who loves nude pumps. There was discussion that the shoes might be the Winona by Rupert Sanderson, but the company confirmed on Facebook that they were not.

They seemed very Jimmy Choo to me so I emailed the company and got the following response:

"We believe that Catherine Middleton is wearing the Jimmy Choo Gilbert leather pumps."

Here is the Gilbert as seen on net-a-porter:

What do you think? Kate's heel looks slightly higher but it may be the angle. Mystery solved?

EDITED:

Jimmy Choo has now reported that the show is the Lovely in Powder Pink.
Definitely seems a better match with the heel and all.

And here's something else I was wondering, why do you think Kate never wears a colored lipstick? Is it another royal rule along with the nude pantyhose?
